Gujarat Common Entrance Test (GUJCET)

About

GUJCET (Gujarat Common Entrance Test) is a state level exam which is conducted once in a year by Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board to take admission in Engineering and Pharmacy Colleges in Gujarat. The number of participating colleges under GUJCET is 165. To participate in GUJCET, student need to fulfil below mentioned eligibility criteria.

Eligibility Criteria

For Engineering
  • Qualifying Exam: Applicant must have passed 10+2 examination from any recognized board of India.
  • Subject: Applicant must have passed 10+2 examination with Maths, physics, Chemistry/Biology/Biotechnology/ Technical Vocational Subjects, where Maths and Physics are compulsory subject along with either Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology or Technical Vocational.
  • Marks: Applicant must have passed 10+2 examination with minimum 45% marks (40% marks for SC/ST/SEBC)
  • Appearing Candidates: Students those are participating in their qualifying examination in 2022 are also eligible to apply for GUJCET
For Pharmacy

There are two types of courses available under pharmacy, one is Degree course and another one is diploma. Eligibility for both courses is mentioned below.

For Degree course

  • Qualifying Exam: Applicant must have passed 10+2 examination from any recognized board of India.
  • Subject: Applicant must have passed 10+2 examination with Chemistry, physics, Maths/Biology/Biotechnology/ Technical Vocational Subjects, where Chemistry and Physics are compulsory subject along with either Maths, Biology, Biotechnology or Technical Vocational.
  • Marks: Applicant must have passed 10+2 examination with minimum 45% marks (40% marks for SC/ST/SEBC)
  • Appearing Candidates: Students those are participating in their qualifying examination in 2022 are also eligible to apply for GUJCET
For Diploma course
  • Qualifying Exam: Applicant must have passed 10+2 examination from any recognized board of India.
  • Subject: Applicant must have passed 10+2 examination with Chemistry, physics, Maths/Biology/Biotechnology/ Technical Vocational Subjects, where Chemistry and Physics are compulsory subject along with either Maths, Biology, Biotechnology or Technical Vocational.
  • Appearing Candidates: Students those are participating in their qualifying examination in 2022 are also eligible to apply for GUJCET
