NTA NEET-UG 2022

Important points of NEET-UG- 2022 Examination:

  1. From 2020 onwards, aspirants can also take admission in AIIMS and JIPMER on the basis of NEET rank.
  2. Aspirants can apply for NEET-UG 2022 through the “Online” mode only.
  3. Online Application Form only can be filled by accessing NTA official website ntaneet.nic.
  4. Aspirant can submit only one application form, Submission of more than one application form can lead to disqualification from the examination.
  5. All the communication by NTA will be done through e-mail, or SMS, on Email id and phone number provided by the candidate during from submission.

NEET-UG 2022 Eligibility Criteria

If you want to register for the examination, you must check your eligibility criteria first. If you will not satisfy the given eligibility criteria, registration will be cancelled:

Nationality:
  • Indian Citizen living in India can apply for this exam
  • PIO (Persons with Indian Origin) are eligible for NEET-UG 2022
  • OCI (Overseas Citizen of India) are eligible for NEET-UG 2022
  • NRIs (Non-Resident Indians) candidates can also apply for NEET exam 2022
Age Limit:
  • Minimum Age: The minimum age limit for NEET 2022 exam is 17 years as on or before 31st December (Of the year of admission.)
  • Maximum Age: There is no upper age limit for NEET 2022, NMC made an announcement for the same.
Qualification:
  • Examination:
    • Aspirant must be qualified 12th or equivalent exam from a recognized institute.
    • Aspirants who have qualified Class 12 or equivalent from an open school are also eligible for NEET-UG 2022
    • 10+2 appearing students are also eligible to apply
  • Subjects:
    •  Subjects Should be Chemistry, Physics, Biology/Biotechnology with English as a compulsory subject.
    • Aspirants, who opted biology as an additional subject in class 12th or equivalent exam can also apply for NEET-UG 2022.
  • Marks Required:
    • In the qualifying exam, students should have obtained at least 50% marks for general, 45% marks for PWD and 40% marks for SC/ST & OBC.

NEET 2022 Dress Code

For Male Candidates:

  • Aspirants must wear a mask and gloves.
  • Only half sleeve shirt/ T-Shirt ( Full sleeves are not allowed)
  • Clothes should be light (Clothes with Zip pockets, Pockets, Large buttons, Detailed embroidery are not allowed)
  • Kurta pajama is not allowed.
  • Only Chappal and sandals with thin sole are allowed, ( Shoes are strictly prohibited)

For Male Candidates:

  • Aspirants must wear a mask and gloves.
  • Clothes with elaborate embroidery, flowers, brooches, or buttons are not allowed in examination hall.
  • Candidates must avoid wearing jewelry like earrings, nose rings, rings, pendants, necklaces, bracelet or anklets.
  • Leggings are not allowed in the examination hall.
  • Aspirant should wear half sleeve cloths, Clothes with full arm-length sleeves are not allowed.
  • Avoid wearing fashionable jeans and jeans with big pockets as they are not allowed as per the NTA specified dress code guidelines.
  • Palazzo is not allowed in examination hall.
  • Slippers, Sandals, or low heel footwear are allowed.
